About Our Acupuncture and Wellness Centers (Chattanooga & Dalton)
Our founding acupuncturist, Chad Dupuis, established our Chattanooga center over 12 years ago to help you improve your health and well-being through the complete use of all of the healing modalities within Chinese Medicine.
Completely practiced, Chinese Medicine includes acupuncture, tuina (Chinese medical massage), Chinese herbal medicine, moxabustion, cupping and eastern exercise techniques such as tai chi, meditation and qi gong. We also offer complementary services such as western massage therapy.
Our complementary medicine based approaches have successfully treated an extremely broad range of conditions in our thousands of patients. We aim to both help you with the issues you present with and to provide you with tools that you can use to increase your health and well-being going forward.
Some of the conditions we commonly treat are:
- Pain: Back/Neck Injuries, Headaches, Migraines, Arthritis...
- Respiratory: Asthma, Allergies...
- Psychological: Addictions, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Stress...
- Gynecological: Infertility, Menstrual Problems, PMS...
- Digestive: Constipation, IBS, Reflux, Weight Loss...
- Cardiovascular: High Blood Pressure/Cholesterol, Poor Circulation...
For patients with more complicated medication conditions, we provide unique treatments for conditions such as Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinsons Disease. Our founder and principal acupuncturist, Chad Dupuis, has extensive experience in the treatment of these conditions with Chinese Medicine.
In addition to our work with fertility issues, our staff also has experience in providing massage and acupuncture services to children and infants for a variety of conditions.
In addition to our standard services, we also offer a variety of health services to the Chattanooga community. These include a low-cost, sliding-scale community acupuncture clinic, along with open meditation, tai chi, and qi gong exercise sessions. These are highlighted on our community health page. We also offer a portion of our profits to global and local charities.
Regardless of your condition, acupuncture and our other offerings will help to balance your body, improve your spirit and positively effect your overall health and vitality. For the more scientific minded of us who may need more detailed research to make appropriate decisions about their healthcare - we recommend the "research section" of our blog which contains hundreds of posts discussing published research related to the techniques we utilize.
Our staff consists of two acupuncturists - Chad J. Dupuis, our founder and principal acupuncturist, along with our associate acupuncturist, Senad Jaskic. We also have three massage therapists, Nina Applegate, Abby Stewart, and George Miyake. To set up an appointment, or to ask a question, please contact our Chattanooga office.
Common questions about acupuncture are answered here. In short... Yes it is extremely likely that we will be able to help you and, no, it doesn't hurt - acupuncture, properly applied, is actually quite relaxing. We promise to do our best to help you with whatever issues life has brought to your attention (our "guiding principles").
