Chattanooga Energy Healing Treatments

In addition to acupuncture, massage therapy, and our other services, our Chattanooga center offers energy healing treatments for a wide variety of ailments. While somewhat less understood than massage and acupuncture, energy healing has a long history of use and is incorporated into many hospitals and western and complementary health centers around the world. It is often incorporated into other treatments as it does not conflict with western treatments, or medications, and is deeply relaxing to the patients. Within hospitals Reiki and Therapeutic Touch are often practiced by nurses and other practitioners to help speed healing, relieve stress and to assist other modalities and treatments within the healing process. Within Chinese Medicine what is known as Medical Qi Gong is used in hospitals and by private practitioners to create the same types of changes that acupuncture and other treatments create to allow your body to balance and heal. In clinical reality, acupuncture, massage and energy healing all have their place within the process of healing disease and each system has its own strengths which is why we offer all of these systems. More energy healing information can be found within our Introduction to Energy Work article.
